Griñón and the airport: why the taxi is worth it
Griñón is a quiet town in the south-west of the Madrid region, with a small old town and many detached houses on residential estates. It has no Cercanías (commuter rail) station, so getting to Barajas by public transport means first travelling to another town to catch the train and then changing in Madrid. With suitcases or an early flight, a pre-booked taxi saves you that whole journey: you leave from your door and get out at the terminal.
The natural way out of Griñón is the A-42, which you reach via Torrejón de la Calzada; from there the driver carries on towards the M-50 or the M-40 depending on traffic. If in your case it is more practical for us to pick you up in a nearby town, such as Humanes de Madrid or Parla, check its fare, which is different.
