Towns by area

North: A-1 and M-607

The northern towns connect with the airport via the A-1 or the M-607 and the M-40. Here residents, businesses and healthcare staff with very early shifts all mix.

  • Alcobendas: pickup in the centre, in La Moraleja or at the Arroyo de la Vega offices.
  • San Sebastián de los Reyes: residential neighbourhoods and the Hospital Infanta Sofía area.
  • Tres Cantos: homes and the Parque Tecnológico, via the M-607.
  • Colmenar Viejo: the town centre and its residential estates, also via the M-607.
  • Algete: town centre and estates in the north-east.

We also cover San Agustín del Guadalix, El Molar and Torrelaguna.

Henares Corridor: A-2

This is the area closest to the airport. Many residents work at Barajas or travel often, and the A-2 is the natural access route. If you live here, our guide to getting to Barajas from the Henares Corridor will interest you.

  • Coslada: the airport's neighbouring town, with pickup at homes, businesses and the Cercanías (commuter rail) station.
  • San Fernando de Henares: town centre and industrial areas next to the A-2.
  • Paracuellos de Jarama: another direct neighbour of Barajas, with many new residential estates.
  • Torrejón de Ardoz: residential neighbourhoods and the Parque Europa area.
  • Alcalá de Henares: historic centre, Universidad de Alcalá and the city's neighbourhoods.

In the same corridor we reach Daganzo de Arriba and Villalbilla.

South-east: A-3

We also cover Mejorada del Campo, Velilla de San Antonio and Campo Real.

South: A-4 and A-42

From the south, the usual route to the airport heads out on the A-4 or the A-42 to link up with the M-40, the M-45 or the M-50. These are large towns, with high demand during holidays and long weekends.

  • Getafe: neighbourhoods, industrial estates and university campus.
  • Leganés: pickup in any neighbourhood of the city.
  • Fuenlabrada: homes, industrial estates and Cercanías stations.
  • Parla: the centre and the town's new neighbourhoods.
  • Valdemoro: next to the A-4, with many families travelling in the holidays.
  • Aranjuez: the southernmost town on the list, with visitors to the Palacio Real.

We also reach Pinto, Ciempozuelos, San Martín de la Vega, Humanes de Madrid, Griñón and Torrejón de la Calzada.

South-west: A-5

  • Alcorcón: residential neighbourhoods and the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos campus.
  • Móstoles: centre, neighbourhoods and university campus, next to the A-5.

We also cover Arroyomolinos, Navalcarnero and Villaviciosa de Odón.

West

Residential towns with lots of business travel, linked to Madrid by the A-6, the M-503 and the M-40.

We also reach Villanueva de la Cañada and Brunete.

Sierra de Madrid: A-6

From the mountains, the A-6 is the way out towards Madrid and the airport. It is best to book with plenty of margin, especially for first-thing flights.

We also cover Galapagar, Guadarrama, Moralzarzal, Hoyo de Manzanares, Manzanares El Real and Valdemorillo.

05

Back from the airport to your town

The service works the same way in the opposite direction. Book your return giving the date, arrival time and flight number: we check the terminal and confirm the meeting point, and the taxi takes you straight to your home in town, at the same fare as the outbound journey. We explain it on the page about airport pickup with your flight number.

If you want to compare prices between towns before booking, they are all in the table of airport fares.
