Gran Vía, from Plaza de España to Calle de Alcalá
Gran Vía is home to a large share of Madrid's hotels and theatres, which is why many of its temporary residents are travellers with a suitcase and a flight home. We pick you up on any stretch: next to Plaza de España and the Edificio España, around Plaza del Callao and the cinemas, in front of the Telefónica building and the Gran Vía metro entrance, or at the Alcalá end, next to the Edificio Metrópolis.
The streets leading off the avenue take you to neighbourhoods with lots of tourist accommodation: to the north, Chueca and Malasaña; to the south, the pedestrian area of Callao and Preciados. If you are staying on one of those streets, the pickup is arranged in the same way: you give us the address and we confirm the spot where the car can stop.

Leave the hotel with just enough time, not in a rush
The most common mistake made by people staying in the centre is cutting it fine, thinking the airport is close. For European flights, the recommendation is to be at the terminal about 2 hours before; for international ones, 3. Also allow time to bring your suitcases down and check out at reception. Price of the taxi from Gran Vía to Barajas
All of Gran Vía is inside the M-30, so the fixed inside-the-M-30 fare applies: €33 to any terminal, there and back. The price does not depend on the route the driver takes or on rush-hour traffic.
You can pay online when you book, by card through the secure Redsys gateway, or to the driver by card or in cash. For groups, the 7-seater taxi has a larger boot.
