Arganzuela is a mainly residential district, with many families and apartment blocks, wedged between the city-centre ring roads, the Atocha railway lines and the M-30, which borders it to the south and west along Madrid Río. We work in all its neighbourhoods:

Madrid Río, Matadero and Méndez Álvaro
Madrid Río and Parque Enrique Tierno Galván, with the Planetarium, make Arganzuela one of the favourite districts for families with children. If you are travelling with little ones, ask for a child seat when you book, giving each child's age; we will confirm availability. Estación Sur, the bus station, is in the Méndez Álvaro area. If you arrive in Madrid on a long-distance coach and are flying on, you can book the taxi with pickup around the station at your expected arrival time and avoid crossing the city with your luggage on public transport.

Arganzuela to Barajas taxi fare
All of Arganzuela is inside the M-30, so the inside-the-M-30 fare applies: €33 to any terminal, both there and back. It is a fixed price: there is no meter and it does not change even if the M-30 is busy as you leave the district.

From the airport to your home in Arganzuela
For the return, book a pickup at the terminal with your flight number: we check the terminal and confirm the meeting point. If your flight changes, let us know by phone or WhatsApp. The driver drops you at your front door for the same fare.
Across the river and the ring roads
Across the Manzanares are Usera and Carabanchel, outside the M-30 and with their own fixed fare. North of the ring roads begins the Centro district, with neighbourhoods such as Embajadores and Lavapiés.
