Collado Mediano, in the heart of the mountains
Collado Mediano lies between Collado Villalba and Navacerrada, right on the Madrid side of the Sierra de Guadarrama. It is a municipality with a small centre surrounded by estates of detached houses, home to long-standing residents, young families who have moved out from Madrid and owners of weekend houses.
The village has a railway station, so we can also pick you up there if you arrive on the Cercanías (commuter rail) and want to continue by taxi to the airport. To get to Barajas, the taxi heads down towards Collado Villalba and joins the A-6; from there it continues along the ring roads to the terminal. The driver chooses the smoothest route, but that does not change what you pay.
