Serracines, Jardín de Serracines and the centre of Fresno
People who do not know the municipality tend to look for the town hall in Fresno, but almost all residents live in Serracines, the outlying district that is home to the town hall, the health centre and the parish church. When you book, write the village name carefully: “Serracines”, “Jardín de Serracines” or “Fresno de Torote”. That way the driver will not go to the wrong village, which is easy to do when sat navs mix up the names of places so close together.
On the Jardín de Serracines estate many streets look alike. If your house is not easy to find, add a landmark (a roundabout, a bus stop, the plot number) in the notes field.
Along the M-113 to the airport
The main road through the municipality is the M-113, which runs from north to south near the Torote river. From there the driver joins the fast roads towards Barajas depending on traffic at the time. Nothing changes for you: the price is the same whichever route they choose.
