Taxi from Moratalaz to Barajas Airport for €27

The district is divided into six administrative neighbourhoods, and the taxi reaches all of them at the same fare: Pavones, Horcajo, Marroquina, Media Legua, Fontarrón and Vinateros. Whether you live next to a Metro line 9 station or on a quieter street inside the district, the price is identical and pickup is at your door.

It is a residential district of apartment blocks, wide streets and plenty of green space between buildings, which makes it easy for the driver to stop outside your door to load the luggage. If your street is an inner one or hard to reach, say so when you book and we will meet on the nearest main avenue or street, such as the Avenida de Moratalaz.

Moratalaz is surrounded by fast roads: the M-30 to the west, the M-23, the continuation of Calle de O’Donnell, to the north, the M-40 to the east and the A-3 to the south. That position means you can join a fast road straight away from almost any street. Depending on the part of the district, the taxi will take the M-40 northwards or the M-30; the driver decides according to the time and traffic and, as the fare is fixed, the route does not change what you pay.

• If there are five or more of you, or you have pushchairs and large suitcases, ask for the 7-seater taxi so you can all travel together.

• To set your pickup time, plan to reach the airport 2 hours before European flights and 3 before international ones. If you are unsure of your terminal, check which Barajas terminal you need.

To get back, book a pickup at the terminal with your flight number: we check which terminal you arrive at and confirm where the driver will be waiting. If your flight is delayed or changes, let us know by phone or WhatsApp. The journey from Barajas to Moratalaz costs €27, the same as the outward trip, and you can pay by card online when you book or to the driver, by card or in cash.
