Pedrezuela, residential estates next to the A-1
Pedrezuela lies west of the A-1, north of San Agustín del Guadalix, and gives its name to the Pedrezuela reservoir on the river Guadalix, which many people also know as the El Vellón reservoir. As well as the village centre, the municipality has several estates of detached houses where many families who work in Madrid or along the northern corridor live.
Its position next to the motorway makes the journey simple: the taxi joins the A-1, heads down towards Madrid and links up with the airport approaches. The awkward part is usually before and after: getting up early so someone can drive you, or paying for several days of parking at Barajas.
