A small mountain village, far from convenient transport
Valdemanco is a small, quiet municipality set on the slopes of the La Cabrera range, between La Cabrera and Bustarviejo. That is precisely why getting to Barajas without your own car is complicated: public transport means chaining journeys together and fitting in with their timetables, which is not very practical when you have suitcases or your plane leaves first thing.
The taxi leaves from your door, joins the A-1 and heads down towards Madrid to your terminal. You do not have to leave the car parked at the airport for your whole trip or ask anyone to get up early to give you a lift.

When to book from Valdemanco
In the mountain villages it is not a good idea to wait until the last minute to find a free taxi, so the sensible thing is to book. Do it days ahead if you are travelling in high season, or the day before at the latest for early-morning departures. To set your pickup time, plan to be at the airport 2 hours before a European flight and 3 before an international one.
