Outside M-30 fare: €33 taxi to Madrid Airport from districts beyond the M-30

The city of Madrid does not have a single price to the airport. Inside the ring road the Inside M-30 fare applies; outside it, the city is divided into areas, and many outer neighbourhoods and districts have their own fixed price, which may be higher or lower depending on where they lie in relation to Barajas. The Outside M-30 fare covers the rest: the streets of the city of Madrid outside the M-30 that do not belong to any of those areas.

In other words, it is the standard fare for “the rest of the city”. It does not apply to towns in the Madrid region, even if they border the capital: Alcobendas, Coslada, Pozuelo and Getafe each have their own price, which you will find on the page for taxis to towns in the Madrid region.

Before assuming the Outside M-30 fare applies to you, check whether your neighbourhood has its own page. In these areas outside the M-30 the price is the one on their page, which may not match this one:

North

In the north, areas such as Fuencarral, Las Tablas and Sanchinarro have their own price. In Barrio del Pilar or in a district as large as Hortaleza, the price depends on the specific street, so it is best to enter the full address.

East

To the east and south-east, Ciudad Lineal, Moratalaz, Vicálvaro and Vallecas have their own fixed fare.

South and west

South of the Manzanares river, Usera, Carabanchel and Villaverde have their own price. The same goes in the west for neighbourhoods such as Aluche and Aravaca.

If your neighbourhood is not listed and the booking form does not assign it an area of its own, the Outside M-30 fare applies. You can see all the areas side by side in the table of airport fares.

In the outer neighbourhoods, routes to Barajas vary a lot depending on the starting point: some journeys join the M-40, others the M-30 or one of the radial motorways. With the Outside M-30 fare, none of that affects you. The amount is set when you book and does not depend on the meter, the route the driver takes or whether you hit rush hour.

• Pickup at your front door, at your company's entrance or at whichever metro exit you prefer.
• Transfer to any Barajas terminal, at the same price for all of them.
• 24-hour service, which is especially useful in residential neighbourhoods where there is little public transport first thing in the morning.
• Official taxis licensed by Madrid City Council.

If there are five or more of you, or your luggage will not fit in a standard car, ask for a vehicle with up to 7 seats. A child seat can be requested when you book, stating the child's age.

To get back, book with your flight number. That way we check your arrival terminal and confirm the meeting point with the driver; if the plane is delayed or changes terminal, let us know by phone or WhatsApp. The return journey has the same fare as the outward one, so you can sort out both trips at once.
